Cabin steward was on top of it. Not very creative on activities. Seemed the passengers had to generate the FUN. Bean bag toss, scavenger hunt, karaoke and trivia. Food choices were average, and quality of selections were generally good. Ship Details: Ship Quality Dining/Food Choices were below expectations. Stateroom Quality Nice interior room, and the cabin steward was very nice. Made a new towel animal to greet me each evening. Ship Staff Quality A few were enthusiastic and friendly, others were indifferent and did not possess much energy. The cruise director did his best to generate enthusiasm. In the dining areas, the staff was quick to clear plates and keep things clean. Entertainment & Activities Only three "shows" during the five nights voyage. They were good productions. Expected Hollywood-production-style shows each night. Activities lacked creativity, and played over and over. For sea days, there could have been more choices beyond trivia of some sort with a bean bag toss, putting contest or art auction thrown in. 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful. We were on the veranda deck, very close to everything. The balsony was a little small but at least it was a balcony. All in all very great boat. Ship Details: Ship Quality Easy to get around. Dining/Food Some food was not always warm, but again all in all it was great. Stateroom Quality Balcony a little small veranda deck. v7 Ship Staff Quality Very Very attentive all the way around. Did you find this review helpful?    Overall Rating: About the Reviewer: Age: 30 - 49 Cruise Experience: 4 - 6 cruises Traveler Type: Family w/young children Stateroom Type: Oceanview so so cruise by A Traveler from Birmingham, AL Sailing date: Nov 2012 Pros: sandwich made to order was good. room and dinner staff were good Cons: shows were average and same as in years past. food was mediocre have sailed Carnival before and this ship had same shows as seen on others. long lines with limited activities. indifferent staff in many cases. photos and Internet use were way overpriced. took a snorkeling excursion in Nassau - staff should have cancelled it as was very rocky seas. water was too cold to snorkel in. could not recommend this cruise. Also, overall organization and programs. Cons: My children were disappointed with Camp carnival activities. This is our first cruise and we really liked it. Although, our two kids (ages 6 and 10) didn't enjoy as much. They said that activities is camp carnival are not that exciting and interesting.
