Really made you feel pampered, as if we booked the Penthouse. Ship Details: Ship Quality Not having another cruise to compare to, but seemed to fit her age. Dining/Food Stateroom Quality Balcony was smaller than as advertised in the pictures on United Cruise Ship Staff Quality I can't begin to descibe how wonderful the staff was, REALLY made us feel special. Classic design perfect size, big enough but not too big. Ship Details: Ship Quality Dining/Food Food was excellent and plentiful. Needs more chocolate!! Stateroom Quality Ship Staff Quality We asked for ice on the first day and then were never without the remainder of the trip, great room stewards. Other crew was great, friendly, helpful, etc.( add your own superlative adjectives as desired, they all work) Entertainment & Activities Again shows and others were great but we didn't miss Wil Keys and bought his cd 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful. Cons: Dining procedures bad, stateroom many problems The bship was excellent but many prts need improvement. Ship Details: Ship Quality Public areas was good, cleanliness was good very accessible. Dining/Food Open seating is bad, have to wait, wait, wait. Meal staff bad, took 1.5 to 2.0 hours for main course. Food was only slightly above average. Need to look at NCL freestyle cruising. Understand they have hired a corporate expert from NCL on dining procedures and he just joined ship to help fix. Stateroom Quality Stateroom was smaller than expected, bad layout. Refridge was broken (bad for meds). Door lock broke for 12 hours, staff had to get us in and out, not in hurry to fix. Room staff were excellent. Ship Staff Quality Dining staff had attitude and I think they were understaffed. Travel consultant did not even know what the Continental form I brought along for future cruises. I will use Continental to book future trips but it will not be on HAL.
